Well, I picked up Aqua Duck today and decided to adopt him! I just couldn't get him off of my mind. He has a clean bill of health and we just got home from his first trip to Petco!!! He is exploring right now. Thanks to all of you for the kind words!

On 6-28 I took Aqua Duck out to Kirkwood in hopes that he would have a better chance to find a home. He was well taken care of at the vet's office!!! They loved having him around. It was hard to leave him today and I hope he finds a new home fast!!!

Being a cat lover myself, I know that he isn't a mean kitty, in the picture he looks that way, but really, he's saying "Where's my mom/dad?" Maybe he's just not photogenic! Bless you for taking care of him!

Oh, come on, you guys... if you can't laugh at things, how will you get through these tough times? I understood what "Satan Cat" was saying. His/her comment and that photo made me giggle! Thank you to the loving family that has taken him in!

satan cat you apparently have never owned a cat, a picture doesnt show much, half the time they are blinkin or yawning in them but that definitely doesnt make it "angry"

If the family of this precious kitty do not claim it, please contact "Last Hope" animal rescue. They will find a new family for kitty.

I'm sure the cat was just scared and wanting its owners. Don't be so rude!

I told him we were still looking for his family and I think he seem to understand. He is warm and has a full belly :-) I hope his owners see him soon!!!

I stopped at my vet today to check on "Aqua Duck" as we have named him...and the girls there just love him. He was obviously well cared for and so sweet. He came right up to me when I opened his cage and was purring like crazy!!!

Can help! says ... on Monday, Jun 16 at 11:14 AM

If the owners do not end up coming forward, our rescue can take the cat in and find it an adoptive home. If it comes to this please email I work in Marion and can easily get the cat from you if needed. Good luck!

This looks like a lovely cat. Hope its owners call soon. As for it being a scary looking cat... To me, it just looks like he is "talking" to the camera when the photo was taken.

It might be helpful if you let people know the area where you found it.

Kelli says ... on Sunday, Jun 15 at 6:24 PM

The cat really isn't scary at all, pretty lovable. I hope the owner calls soon. The cat was well taken care of. He came right to me when I called.

It is probably been thru hell! Missing it's owner and is scared. Poor baby. I hope it's owner finds it. Thanks to the person kind enough to care for it!

you are a kind person for helping this cat find its owner... good luck!

Kim says ... on Sunday, Jun 15 at 5:33 PM

Bless this person for taking care of kitty until his owner comes for him! I would do the same. We have four cats. This one is likely more scared than anything else. Hopefully mommy/daddy will come for him soon!

Mason says ... on Sunday, Jun 15 at 4:57 PM

Wow, that is a scary looking cat.

Tyler says ... on Sunday, Jun 15 at 4:48 PM

That thing does NOT look very happy. Hope the owner finds this soon.
