Cedar County residents have worked since Wednesday to sandbag around homes and businesses in the community of Rochester, near Tipton. On Thursday, sandbaggers were working at this business and the daycare behind it. By Friday morning, water was well above the sandbags and almost to the main floor of the daycare behind it.

Hi, I live in Cedar Rapids and I would like to say it seems that not taking showers would not seem that big of a deal but until you can not take showers. Our family is doing our best to not use alot of power our water. I hope this will end soon.
