Downtown Cedar Rapids during river crest

These photos were taken around 1:45 pm on 6/13/08 during the crest of the Cedar River in Cedar Rapids Iowa. The river crested at 31.12 ft, which is 19 feet OVER flood stage. In comparison, the 1993 flood crested at 19.27 feet. This year's record breaking level beat the 20 ft record of 1851.

i'm am glad there is so many good pictures i'm a trucker in texas now there has been so many drivers sending prayers to cedar rapids residents we will band together and make cedar rapids a better town
