Two anonymous brave souls commandeered a row boat and some TANA neighbors rowed us to see for ourselves. At least 4 feet of water engulfs Taylor Elementary's first floor, office items floating about, devastating to see for all who work there, go to school there, send their children there, and are TAYLOR TIGER supporters. I want to know what those of us who are a part of Taylor that were lucky enough to have our homes spared can do for the Taylor families that need us right now.Our school will be fine as long as we take care of the community it is a part of.

It is hard to see thse pictures. I believe the relationships we have built will get us through this. The mural on the Taylor gym wall reminds us we are a gift. This flood calls on us all to share our gifts each other.

Thank you for these pictures. I used to wake up every morning to the sounds of the kids outside this school. I've been wondering how high the water had gotten up. I wish everyone that was affected by this the best.

There is no doubt in my mind that Taylor School and Community will emerge from this terrible disaster stronger than ever! We will be patient and strong. Hard work and the spirit of togetherness is what the entire Taylor Neighborhood is all about.

Thank you so much Jamie for the pics. it's really heart breaking to see since all my children have graduated from Taylor. We have a great staff and families and we will all get through this Go Taylor Tigers.

As members of this neighborhood, a Taylor School family and members of Taylor Girl Scout Troop 1136, it hurts to see these photo's. However, we are strong and resilient and will make it through. Our community is about it's people not the buildings!

Brave souls to go and take a look, stay safe! I can't help but tear up at looking at this great school under water. I know that the thought of all of the childrens, teachers, and all the rest of us who have belongings there-it is horrible. FAITH!

Thanks for the pictures, although I'm not really sure that I want to see what it looks like, especially inside. I am more worried about the Taylor families than the building, but it is such an anchor for so many people...we're in this together.

Jamie - Thank You!! I spent most of today wondering and worrying about my old neighborhood. While your pictures just confirmed my fears, it was good to see them. I loved that area and I wish everyone well. Stay strong Taylor Tigers!!
