The first two photos were taken by Mike Mrstik along with his father Joe, who has recently came back on leave from Iraq.

The third pictures are sandbag efforts in Sutliff Thursday evening. As the picture reflects the Bridge is still standing however the water was raising quickly at the time of this photo.

It is a honor to see the the true Iowan spirt come out under such tragic circumstances.
