The Cascade Firefighers were batteling waters that were coming into Cascade, IA on 6-9-08 throughout 6-13-08 at frequent times. The North Fork of Maquoketa is the river that flows though the down town of Cascade. The water is moving extremely fast. House and businesses that were near the river had a volentary evacutation and could go to the Aquin Gym in Cascade for shelter.
