Vinton lost the battle to save its Correctional Facility. The building was swallowed up with over five feet of water inside the building. The courthouse is surrounded by water on three sides. Never thought I would see a canoe shored on the lawn. Many buildings, both business and residential were lost to the record level floods and many more at risk.

Wow, I lived on 3rd right down from Wilson-Hite Insurance. Can't believe the devastation. We are thinking about you all the way down here in Sunny Florida during this unfortunate time. Hang in there!

Hey, that picture of the Orange "Water" sign is pretty awesome, make sure it's copyrighted! Someone else is goiong to want to use it, at least make sure you get recognition.
