Contact anyone who may know how to get ahold of home improvement shows ask them to pool their funds and help all disaster victims. It won't fix everything but it could help all of us to some point. The costs that will be incurred will be devestating.

The best thing you can do is donate to the American Red Cross who is seeking donations for the Iowa floods right now.

My brother lives in Cedar Rapids. I am currently deployed. I sent him an e-mail, and got a wierd message back saying that the delivery of the message would be delayed. I can't find any info about people that are wounded or worse. Where can I look?

InIraq-There's only been one reported death in all of the flooded areas. It was a 59 year old women. The best thing is too look at a map and see if his area was flooded. People can list themselves on redcross.com saying there safe also.
