I live in the time check area. i am so happy that everyone is banding together and helping everyone out. Its made it a lot easier to deal with the possibility of lossing everything because of all the volunteers. please dont lose hope. good luck all

There has been one death that they know of. I am evacuated out of my house and it is just heartrinching not to know what is going on. God bless everyone effected. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

i agree, me and my family left tuesday for the fear of flooding in coralville. i recieved a call saying that my block was evacuated. God is going to bless us all we must have faith, i'm trying so hard not to cry while typing this. i am praying for e1

I grew up in Marion and Cedar Rapids: it's heartbreaking to see what all of you are going through. If anyone can show the world how to handle a crisis the right way: with dignity, honesty and self respect it will be the people of Iowa. God Bless!

I lived thru the floods of 93 in St. Louis and now live in Az. I grew up in CR and cant believe my eyes. My thoughts and prayers go out to all. These things effect everyone, not just the ones who have losses. God Bless

We live in the St. Louis area now and can not image what everyone is going through. Our prayers are with all the Iowa residents. The pictures do not even begin to tell the story.

has anyone been hurt or died in cedar rapids because of floods i'm a over the road trucker out of cr i've had all kinds of driver ask me and they also said there prayers are with the residents
