After an ice jam that was responsible for Cedar River flooding-- especially at Ellis Park--milder temperatures softened it today to a point where it finally broke free. The river was flowing unhindered in these views from its west bank across from Quaker Oats at 4:15 PM, Thursday, March 14, 2013.
