They are still saying 24 feet is the crest... but we are expecting rain tonight... in the amount of 2 to 5 inches or more. Let's hope they are wrong!

Vinton is currently without power indefinitely they say... I pray for everyone they make it through this terrible swath of weather!

We are praying for all of you that the floods will go down soon and the rains will stop. I have close friends who live in Vinton and I was just there visiting in March.
