Vinton is in a deep battle against the Cedar River. The water is dangerously high on the bridge leading North out of town on 150. which is now closed. The antique store on the corner of Second St, is prepared for the water but will it be enough to preserve the history inside. Crews working on the sandbag wall for the Electric Generation Plant, getting a close ride along the river.

i live in Vinton, Iowa im 14 and i think this is the worse thing i ever seen in my whole life
