HUGE Funnel Cloud in Dickeyville, WI

I shot this video of a huge funnel cloud taveling through the backyards of my neighbors across the street on Sunday (6-8-08) @ 6:30. At :41 seconds into the video on the right side of the cloud you can see a small "twister" starting to drop for about 10 seconds before it rises back up and the whole thing dissapates at the end of the video.

With no discernable rotation and the fact this cloud is on the leading edge of the storm, I highly doubt this is a funnel cloud. Looks more like a bulge in the shelf cloud.

Seems to me you witnessed a disaster that didn't happen. You cloud technophobes call it what you will, I, myself, will categorize this formation as impressive and intimidating. Thanks for filming and sharing!

I agree with Steve, would be darn rare to see a funnel cloud at the leading edge of a storm. Still impressive though.
