Hey grammar school marm- why don't you get off your dead rump and do something to help. Grab a shovel and gloves and help sandbag. Every little bit helps.

Marm-a-tard eh? UI = public = those millions are YOUR TAXES!! Obama wins the presidency and your taxes will go up a lot as it is, but it sounds like you want them to go up more to cover the additional expenses flooding could cause at UI. hmm..

Grammar School Marm...I was born and raised in Iowa City. The U of Iowa and its students and faculty are what make Iowa City a great place to live and work. Interesting that someone in education would be so bitter and small minded.

One thing to remember, despite all the 'millions' it has, Iowa is a public school. It is funded by our taxes, and the hard-earned wages of its students. But, you know, who cares? Universities don't really do much for our society. . .

Shame on you Grammar School Marm! It's apparent that you don't care about anyone but yourself. There are many university students and residents of this fair community that reside in the areas affected by rising waters. Put yourself in their shoes.

You know what, thats a pretty bad attitude. What about the university students. Do you not care about them either?

Nobody cares about the U of Iowa. They have millions of dollars to spend.
