God is Watching Over Us

A double rainbow seen in our community, as people sandbag and ready themselves for devasting floods, reminds us that God is watching over us even in times of hardship.

This world is not ours - it is and always has been God's. It is not our place to question His reasons or ways - it is our place to trust Him in faith. Even in difficult times I will trust Him and pray for those as Charlie who deny Him.

Your God is not the one who controls the weather. If he "watches" anything, it is not with any sense of control or compassion--it is with the sense of a gawker. If your God were compassionate, he would not have created mosquitos...He's a beast.
