The heavy rains are causing problems in Grundy County again. Already full small streams have flooding causing the closure of County Rd D17 in northern rural Grundy County. This is the second time this spring that the road has been closed due to water covering the roadway. This is the worst this season although.

Storms last night also caused damage to trees in the area from lightning and strong winds.
