I along with stormchase partner Chris Griswold watched the developing wall cloud as it formed just west of the Mason City airport. We tracked it for 30 minutes shooting it and moving south a mile at a time as it drew closer to us.

No tornadoes developed from this particular wall cloud, but one was spotted in another storm approximately 8 miles away from our position.

That's really cool when someone like you sees a wall cloud. It is really hard to explain what it is to a 6 and 7 and 8 or 9 year old. But it is really hard to find out what it is.
