Orphan Foal

Orphan Filly Foal

Tuesday was a great day in our lives, our little "Star" was born healtly and wanting to get up and run right away, shortly after her birth her mother was having some complications and passed away. We are now feeding Star with a bottle and she is doing great but I think she thinks she is a human! She whinnys when she hears my 2 1/2 year old daughter and I comming to feed her, and can't wait for someone to pet her and praise her. She is fed every 2 hours around the clock until she is able to eat pellets. She is beautiful and we are so happy to be new parents again!

I know how you feel I was forced to give up my horse and I miss her greatly she will always hold a place in my heart. I'm 13 and I just gave her away a little over a year ago. She was my best friend.

Today June 5th our Star left us to live a different life with other horses in HorseHeaven, it was great when she was here and we enjoyed every minute of it, we miss her greatly.

She is so sweet! But I was sorry to hear about the mother passing away. I hope Star will be fine, sounds like she's in great hands. We live on a horse ranch and have horses of our own but I always enjoy seeing a new one.
