heard there was more flooding last night, praying for ya'll, keep God in your lives, it might not seem like He is with you but just read 1corinthians 10:13

40 years ago you didnt see this in Lamont because the area was properly irrigated. Now with farmers looking to farm every inch of land they can for ethanol etc, the run off goes right into town. If you need proof, check out the corn EVERYWHERE.

It's really a rough time. Noone has flood insurance - it's never been a problem area.... most won't be covered by insurance and FEMA may be of little assistance AND flooding again today.

This doesn't look like my little community!!! You are all in my thoughts!!! Stay strong and know that tomorrow will be a better day. As for assistance, I hope everyone makes contacts to get the much needed relief.
