A steam plume from the Duane Arnold Energy Center was blown several miles by low-level winds on Thursday evening, January 31. Here it can be seen drifting across a sundog as seen from near Alburnett Road and East Robins Road in Marion around 4:45 PM. Temperature was about 3 degrees F with WNW winds gusting to 33 mph, creating -20 wind chills.
