This years snowman stands 11 feet 7 inches tall and answers the question that a New Hampton kindergarten student asked last year "Where are his boots?" Danny Deetz and his daughter (Ashley) have built many snowmen over the years. Last years snowman was 18 foot tall. A few years ago the two of them transported a snowman by trailor and placed it in front of the New Hampton Nursing and Rehibliltation Center; when residents woke up you can imagine their surprise. Deetz just enjoys the smiles that it brings as people drive by.
