These are pictures taken after the storm on 4/25/08. Our property is an acreage on the south edge of Bennett, IA. The first picture looks east across the road (Cty Hwy Y14 ) towards the creek that runs along the south side of our property. This field was completely covered. You can see where the creek should be, right behind the line of trees. The second picture shows our usually grassy pasture completely covered in water from the creek coming out of its banks. The third picture shows the bridge over the creek and more of our pasture and ditches. This is very significant flooding for us as my husband has lived here for about 10 years and has never seen this kind of flooding on this property. As of the morning of 4/26/08, the water has almost completely receded off of the grassy areas.
