CONGRATULATIONS! The Linn Mar Varsity Pom team won 1st place with their jazz routine (highest overall score of all 6 division), 1st place hip hop dance (highest overall score of all 6 divisions) and 2nd place with their pom routine (2nd highest overall score of all 14 divisions) at the Iowa State Dance Team Championship! WAY TO GO GIRLS!!!

The competition will be televised on IPTV on Saturday Feb. 2, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. and again on Sunday Feb 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.

Did you know the State of Iowa hosts the LARGEST state POM competition in the NATION? It does! Iowa hosts 14 pom categories from the smallest schools in the state up to the largest. Linn Mar competes in the largest school division (Division XIV). Iowa IS the Pom Capital of the nation with 156 teams competing in the pom division!!!!!
