Sorry to be a Scrooge but that house is hideous. You can decorate and be festive and fun, but there's a point when you've gone overboard and it looks like a discount decoration warehouse threw up on your house. Sorry but this is way overboard.

I am bet people who decorate their houses like this do it for the kids and not to impress adults. My children love to drive around town and see displays such as this one. I don't think it's overboard. I appreciate the entertainment for my kids.

We go all out as well, and I agree with the comment above. The kids love it and that makes it all worth it. From the looks of this photo, there's hours and hours of work spent on it. My kids would adore this. BrewMaster - thanks for sharing.

My kids LOVE this house and we drive by it whenever we're out and about at night. My six-year-old loves it so much that she wants to write them a thank-you note!
