I am a student of the University of Northern Iowa. I watched this storm out my window of my dorm located near the south west corner of campus. The movie and photo are taken in the direction of Waterloo. As you can see, it got very dark and menacing looking here, but other than a LOT of rain, some wind and perhaps 5 strikes of lightning or so (one of which I caught at the end of the video), the storm had blown over. It ended up looking a lot worse than it ended up being...Hope everyone else got through all the storms with no damage!!
