My parents every fall always took us to NE Iowa to see the leaves and buy apples and cheese in Wisconsin. I have carried that tradition on with my wife and my 16 year old daughter. We hit the road Sunday September 30th and the colors were awesome! Best I have seen in years! Apples in Gays Mills were great too!
