The Art Students at Anamosa High School have made a different set of Banners to be hung on Main Street for the last four years. A different Theme has been chosen each year. Past themes have included Grant Wood, and Discover Anamosa. This years theme was after-school activities in Anamosa Schools. 21 students produced 48 banners. It is a wonderful project that is funded by a grant and has saved the local taxpayers hundreds of dollars (per banner) and beautified the Main Street of Anamosa.
