A tree in my front yard was struck by lightning, and landed on my garage and house. Power lines are down in the back yard because a couple trees fell down. I was not aware of it because my family was out of town (thank goodness). Our neighbors sent us pictures of the incident, and I came home right away. I couldn't believe the damage my neighborhood went through. It looked like a tornado went through. Our neighbors cleaned up my yard and got the tree off the roof. Thankfully no one was hurt.
