We hay the horses each evening around 5 p.m., the deer come out of timber and eat with the horses. To our surprise, the horses don't mind sharing their hay. It is not uncommon to see 15 to 25 deer at a time eating with the horses. The deer are not very scared of us. The horses are pastured by Clermont, Iowa.
