This was the storm that rolled into Mt. Vernon, Iowa on Friday, June 29th. We live in Windsor, Colorado and were staying at the Sleep Inn motel while visiting my parents who live in Lisbon, Iowa. Tremendous winds and amazing cloud formations. A Harley biker guy, his wife and I stood outside to observe the show while the sirens were going off and all others ran for cover...wimps! :-)
