A very photogenic but dangerous shelf cloud approaches from the southwest along a gust front from about 5:30-5:35 PM on Friday, June 29, 2012. The storm was gobbling up and plowing through mid-80 temperatures and upper-60 dew points. These images were taken from Noelridge Christian Church in NE Cedar Rapids and the video includes the church's pastor, Reverend Stewart Royce. Winds topped 60 mph here.
