Freedom of Conscience Rally Today

65 people attended today’s first Cedar Rapids rally for Religious Freedom of Conscience Protection.
From 12 to 1 PM people from the surrounding area gathered at Collins Road and Council Street near Noelridge Park for support to defend the religious freedom of conscience we carry.
Today’s rallies across the US tallied 81 cities with a total of 39,807 participants.

The reason we gathered is the attack from the government regarding the Health and Human Services mandate, where Catholics and anyone of faith would be asked to supply contraceptive, tubal ligations and abortion drugs like the morning after pill in their health plans. This poses a big problem for Catholic and other Christian employers who are required to supply medical insurance for their employees.

We are urging everyone to contact their senators and congressmen to help support the conscience protection of religious faiths. If you want to become involved, see
for more information.
