Today on Mother's Day as I was visiting my grandmother's house we found this large moth attached to a bush in her front yard. It had about a 7 inch wing span and a large chubby red/white striped body. My grandpa said it had just hatched that morning. It hasn't flown yet but hopefully it will! We are unsure what type of moth it is, but it was fascincating & nothing I had ever seen!
