At a notoriously dangerous intersection, a car apparently tried to "beat" a semi and lost. With road construction restricting the four lane to one lane north bound, rush hour traffic complicated the rescue scene. The driver had to be extricated and then Life Flight took her to St Luke's in Cedar Rapids.

hmmmm no " beating" a semi involved trucker was not paying attention
