I was spotted by a Presidential staffer holding our five-week old daughter at the Field House waiting for the President to talk. She asked me to come with her to a "cooler" room because it was too hot where we where. My husband and I followed her to the overflow room where they put us in the front row. After the President gave some brief remarks he shook hands and when he got to us he asked us questions about Madelynn and asked if he could hold her. The President and I talked about our kids before he moved along to his speech in the main room.
