we had a new meta roof put on late spring. This is the first year with it. The snow accumulates on the roof then the lower layer melts. Eventually it slides off and make a horific noise when it lands. Before it slides off it hangs onto the roofs edge and makes great artwork of the ice. I thought you might enjoy them
