On this snowy January day, I decided to drive to Althaus Park in Asbury, Iowa, to take some winter photographs. The snow was untouched, and the park was quiet and peaceful. I dogged through the ten to twelve inches of snow (as is shown in one of the photos), soon out of breath and exhausted. I wanted to lay down in the snow and make a snow angel. But in the end, the photographs turned out great and were worth the extreme cardiovascular workout.
