In my yard we have trees that are so dense, that there is less than 8 feet between most of them on 3 acres. They are definitely a good thing because they stop snow drifts :-) once you leave my property, the drifts are 2 feet high in some places. The location for this is outside of Janesville Iowa.

Nice view! I love the trees myself. When I bought my house in CR the one thing I had to have was a tree. That was a 1st with my relator who still chuckles about it.
