I took some photos as an amateur photographer, and really wanted to focus on veterans. These photos do not relate to one specific story, but do relate to those who served. I tried to capture the emotion, as I asked my subjects to just do what felt appropriate to them when they think of their service. I just followed and shot. It's important for these people to be seen, and to try to see how they feel after being back from war. I hope I captured that, and that it's something people will see if they look close enough, because I not only saw it, I felt it.
