Donald W. Powell served in World War 2 in the United States Army. He was captured in September 8,1944 and was rescued on May 2,1945. Don is from Camanche, Iowa. He recently passed away on September 24, 2010

Dad was a true hero. He loved this country and taught us to be proud as well. He was a WWII-POW twice. We miss him very much.
