Albert B. Hanson - WWII Veteran

Albert B. Hanson served in the US Navy during WWII from Feb. 4, 1944 until his honorable discharge on March 7, 1946. He served aboard the BB-41 USS Mississippi as a Machinists Mate 3rd Class. On Sept. 2, 1945 he witnessed the signing of the Peace Treaty on the deck of the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay. He was aboard the WWII Vets Honor Flight this past Sept. in Cedar Rapids.
