The show will air January 6, 2012 at it's regular time slot and I believe Audrey said it will be a two hr. show.

Glad to know that good things DO happen to good people!!!

Areopostal actually isn't very pricey. Keeping my kids in clothes that fit as they grew was WAY easier than trying to find thousands to keep up my old home. Not well-to-do doesn't mean not deserving of decent things.

Wonder what local channel carries that show .. oh yes, of course.

Wow!!! really some people. I just cant belive some of the people in this world today. all i got to say is this family deserves this house.

My grandmother taught me, at a very young age, that if you can't say something nice, then don't say anything at all. I think some on this page should learn that lesson. Maybe those of you should try walking in that family's shoes.

I just dont understand why people have to see what people are wearing and not what drives them to be the people that they are, I hate jealousy it really turns a beautiful thing into something ugly

Sue says ... on Saturday, Oct 22 at 5:08 PM

Christina is it sad that that is all you got from this but small minded people usual are this way! So so sad! I'm going to bet you weren't their to help either before or then.

Maybe your kids could have had name brand clothes if you had gone to Goodwil, The Salvation Army and good old fashioned garage sales like the rest of us did. God bless this family , Extreme makeover and everyone who made this possible!!

Trudi says ... on Thursday, Oct 13 at 8:49 PM

Name brand clothes do not make a person. Doesn't mean you have money. I have watched this family struggle time and time again. Its about time things turned around for them. Keep your negative and jealous remarks to yourself unless you know them

unknown says ... on Thursday, Oct 13 at 7:36 AM

all that matters is that this family is safe and happy.they have been through enough in their lives .i hope all is well and congratulations on your new home.God bless you.

Sounds like family in West Union DESERVES all this extra help. I am happy for them. God Bless them. My boys were alot of patched jeans & 2nd hand clothes; they survived. proud Mom.

My kids all have over 1/2 of their wardrobe in name brand. Why? because of people who help support clothing giveaways and second hand stores. And for your information, clothes are donated to families when they go on a TV show from department stores.

A Mom says ... on Wednesday, Oct 12 at 8:22 AM

I don't have a lot of money, but sacrifice things 4 myself, so my kids can have namebrand clothes. My kids r athletic and in all sports and it takes some money to provide what needed for that too. I buy things on sale and use coupons. Think b4 u type!

Angel says ... on Wednesday, Oct 12 at 7:37 AM

I just feel this is something this family needed...its not about what you wear or how you do your hair or where you shop, its about helping people in need. Do unto others as you would have done unto you...stop judgeing and think of a way you can help

Beth says ... on Wednesday, Oct 12 at 7:01 AM

Anyone can afford name brand clothes if you can swallow your pride and go to second hand stores to get them. I swallow my pride so my child can wear name brands, who wouldnt in order for your kids to dress like others and not be teased.

I believe the Gibbs family really deserved this. They are a great family! People are just jealous. If you cant say something nice then don't say anything at all.

Lori says ... on Tuesday, Oct 11 at 5:52 PM

the people leaving negative comments - I bet would not like to walk a day in Audreys shoes. Audrey and her kids work hard. I feel sorry for people who have to live around all your negativeness. Be Happy for people and thankful for what you have!

Louie says ... on Monday, Oct 10 at 11:05 PM

Audrey is a personal friend of mine, of course in any situation there will be those who are jealous, envious and the like. If people are going to get hung up on what is worn, let me clarify, the majority of clothes that the kids wear are donated.

Just because you have few nice name brand t-shirts doesn't mean you have enough money to keep up an old home. I can't believe you don't think she deserves this. Shame on you.

jessica says ... on Sunday, Oct 9 at 1:52 PM

who wouldn't want to wear there best when they are going to be on national TV, do we notice a little jealousy? the only thing i can think about is how does this woman do it? all those kids and blind. wow. you know she could use this.

Jane says ... on Friday, Oct 7 at 4:11 PM

When my children were small,I went to goodwill and bought cheep but brand name clothes and my kids didn't know the difference. to day they do the same for there kids and grandkids

unknown says ... on Friday, Oct 7 at 11:11 AM

These kids are without a dad and a mom with serious health issues. Who would care what brand of clothes they wear?

Mary says ... on Thursday, Oct 6 at 2:28 PM

Amen, to those defending how those 6 kids might be able to wear name brand. You can find some great deals at garage sales and consignment shops. Think before you type - remember some handicaps aren't visible either.

unknown says ... on Thursday, Oct 6 at 1:27 PM

my kids wear name brands, but they come from garage sales and friends who know my kids need hand-me-downs and when I can I hit the new clothes rack at the depot and goodwill. so don't knock it.

unknown says ... on Tuesday, Oct 4 at 8:22 PM

you know alot of times you can go to garage sales and goodwill and get name brand clothes so maybe people think before they speak

christina says ... on Tuesday, Oct 4 at 6:21 PM

I wish my kids could have afforded to wear Areopostal and Hurley.
