"Falling" In Love

For our two-year anniversary, Andrew and I wanted to celebrate by sky diving; a plunge we have both dreamed of doing. Due to some circumstances, we had to postpone our jump. After 1 ½ years of patiently waiting, we finally managed to find the time and the money to scratch an item off our bucket-list. On July 17, 2010, Andrew and I made the 2-hour drive down to Skydive Midwest in Sturtevant, WI. The day was packed with anxious first-time divers including ourselves. After 5 hours of patiently and anxiously waiting, it was finally our turn. Before boarding the plane, Andrew had told both of our cameramen that he planned on proposing after we landed; I had absolutely no idea! After many flips and turns 15,000 feet in the air, Andrew managed to land on the ground safely with the ring still in his pocket. I landed smoothly on the ground only to get the biggest surprise of my life. Andrew got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Words cannot describe all the emotions that I was feeling at that moment; this honestly was the best day of our lives and we couldn’t be happier!
