A plume of smoke from a mixed housing fire at 6th Street and 12th Avenue SE in Cedar Rapids is seen from Boyson Road just south of Timber Oak Court in Marion around 12:48 AM, Saturday, July 30. This is a 6-second exposure. Even at this distance from the fire (5.3 miles), one could still smell the smoke.
