New Hazard on CRCC

Hot Air Balloon Forced to Land

A hot air balloon must have had some problems and landed on the Cedar Rapids Country Club golf course around seven thirty. After fifteen minutes or so the crew appeared and with the balloon having just enough loft to be walked off the course it was moved across a bridge and several greens. It took some careful maneuvering through the trees but they made it to the closest exit point from the course in about forty-five minutes. Numerous golfers gave the crew a funny look but continued with their game.
