On the drive home from Cedar Rapids, my husband pointed out the interesting clouds ahead. I watched and photographed them for about 8 miles. The row clouds were in the southern sky and the bar clouds were in the western sky along Interstate 380. The sparkler clouds looked as if they were turning into sparklers on the ends. It was quite a show. What causes them? Wind?
