Marion's own Tom Lenz was putting together a great night at the Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, IA last night until a huge crash at the beginning of the A Main did major damage to his car. 8 cars were involved in the crash that started on the front stretch going into turn one as Rod Richards slowed as he took the green flag. All drivers emerged uninjured. The cars were not as lucky.

I seen it and im just glad he is ok! Im glad most of the drivers escape unhurt after the crahses!

I am told that the top wing side panel and the nose wing will be available for purchase at an upcoming auction benefitting the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum.
