I took these pictures on Sunday, April 10th outside Marengo on the Iowa River. There were several turtles sunning themselves on logs and I captured a picture of three of them. We also saw a log we named the Iowa River Nessie because when you come around the corner and the sun is shining on it, it looks like it could be the Loch Ness monster.
