Marine returns from Afghanistan

Chris Prior a resident of Cedar Rapids and a Prairie High School graduate, has just returned from a tour of duty in Marjah Afganistan. Chris has been in the Marines since 2007, and is an Iraq war veteren having served in Ramadi Iraq in 2009. While serving in Afghanistan Chris was promoted to sergeant. He is stationed in North Carolina and will be returning to Cedar Rapids for the first time since his deployment. Chris will also be marrying his long time girlfriend Paige Hingtgen while he is back home here in Cedar Rapids. We are all very proud of our soldier!
