They were moving the row of plowed snow from the center of Dubuque St. in Iowa City this morning around 8:00 am. The snow was about 6 feet hight and about 6 feet wide. They did the entire block of Dubuque St. between Iowa Avenue and Washington St. in about 15 minutes. Amazing. It resembled the harvesting of corn only with snow. The trucks moved along the snow as the roadgrader with the biggest snow blower I have ever seen on it, blew the snow into the trucks. They never stopped.
That is what I need to move my snow

The same thing on our street except it took two hours to do a quarter mile, but the drifts were about seven feet deep and they blew all the snow into the fields.

Now if they would only come and clean off the 3 to 4 foot pile of snow they plowed off the street and over my front sidewalk. The entire area between the street and extending over the entire width of my sidewalk is buried. I can't find the sidewalk.
